Minch Appointed Patti Engineering's Senior Account Manager

Patti Engineering, Inc. a control systems integration provider based in Auburn Hills, Mich., recently appointed a new senior account manager, Edward Minch. Minch has more than 25 years of experience in the sales, automation, engineering, coatings and chemical industries.

Prior to joining Patti Engineering, Minch began his career as an automotive coating research chemist with BASF- the world’s leading chemical company.  From there, he worked at FANUC Robotics America, in various robotic system programming and engineering roles and was ultimately promoted to senior district/account manager where he managed a variety of international automotive accounts, including Ford, Chrysler, Shanghai-GM and Mercedes-Benz.  He is a widely-recognized authority on automated manufacturing and painting processes. Minch also recently worked as a manufacturing engineering consultant with Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) in Orion, MI, where he was a program manager, primarily for solar energy equipment manufacturing and other non-automotive customers.

 

Minch earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, Mich.  There, Minch played varsity basketball and baseball, earning an invitation to a 1984 US Olympic Regional Trial, for baseball.

Patti Engineering Inc., a control systems integrator based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, has hired Georgia Whalen from North Andover, Massachusetts to lead its business development operations in the northeast region of the United States.  The territory’s operations will be managed from a new regional office in North Andover, Massachusetts.  Whalen brings with her more than two decades of sales and account management experience.

 

“Georgia has a tremendous track record for not only increasing sales,” says Sam Hoff, Patti Engineering’s Owner and President, “but also for developing partnerships that optimize budgets and create unique distribution channels.  We’re very pleased to have her leading our northeastern US operations.”

 

Prior to joining Patti Engineering, Whalen spent a number of years in the food industry having held positions at Kraft Foodservice, Carnation Foodservice and Devine and Devine Food Brokers.

 

Whalen earned her bachelor of science degree in business administration from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

Patti Engineering, Inc in Auburn Hills, Michigan is opening a new northeast United States regional office in North Andover, Massachusetts.  This is a second location for the company.

 

“We’ve had an increasing number of leads and business from the northeast territory,” says Sam Hoff, Patti Engineering’s Owner and President.  “It was time for us to have a permanent presence there to meet the ongoing needs of these customers.  This new office required us to hire a regional business development manager and an additional account manager in Michigan”

Detroit, MI — Auburn Hills, MI-based Law Enforcement Intelligent Devices, LLC (LEID) will be installing its locker system and patent-pending Biometric Access Control SystemTM (BACS) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ National Institutes of Health (NIH) based in Bethesda, MD. The locker system will support the NIH’s entire police force that is responsible for protecting our nation’s medical research agency. The project is expected to be completed in February 2010. Patti Engineering, Inc. Awarded Green Project

Auburn Hills-based Patti Engineering, Inc. has been awarded new business from Midland (Mich.) Chemical and Washington-based InEnTec Chemical LLC to manage and integrate the environmental control and reporting systems that transform hazardous waste into valuable bi-products. Their systems will control the conversion of chlorosilane to pure hydrochloric acid and glass – both which can be sold commercially.
