The event is taking place at Ford Field in Detroit, MI on Wednesday, March 20 and Thursday, March 21, 2013. Electro-Matic Products and Siemens  will bring together executives, technology leaders and innovators in manufacturing to discuss, demonstrate and display expertise in automation, controls and more at the Manufacturing in America Symposium featuring the Technology Tip Off event.

Terrance Brinkley, senior electrical engineer at Patti Engineering, will present “Tips and Tricks when Programming for the Transline 2000 Standard” on Thursday, March 21 in the South Press Alcove from 9:00 a.m. – 9:50 a.m. ET. The session will provide an in depth review of the nuts and bolts of implementing the Siemens technology, including S7-300 PLCs, MP277B, OP177B, TP177B, Transline 2000 HMI Lite, WinCC Flexible and Step 7.

“Siemens Transline 2000 standard provides commonality, efficiency and expandability,” said Brinkley. “If implemented properly, the technology can decrease downtime and development time, making future changes close to seamless.”
