Senior Electrical Engineer L. John Shipley, P.E. of Patti Engineering’s Indiana office recently achieved his professional engineer’s license.

Auburn Hills, MI – April 11, 2018 – Patti Engineering, a leading control system integration company based in Auburn Hills, Michigan with offices in Texas and Indiana, today announced that employee L. John Shipley, P.E. was recently licensed as a professional engineer in the state of Indiana.  Shipley, a senior electrical engineer, is the first licensed professional engineer at the company’s Indiana office, and the fourth in the company.

In his current role, Shipley designs customized industrial automation solutions for a variety of industries, and provides customers with onsite installation and support.  Prior to joining Patti Engineering, Shipley worked as a controls engineer for Chrysler and Manufacturing Technology, Inc.

A graduate of Purdue University, Shipley holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering.  He also earned his master of science in international business from San Diego State University.  In addition to his professional engineer’s license, Shipley is also an International Society of Automation (ISA) Certified Automation Professional.
