Ross Stores California Expansion Project
We’ve been awarded the contract to expand the current garment-on-hanger sortation system at the Ross Stores’ Perris, CA southwest distribution facility.
Patti was awarded the initial 2003 contract to design the control systems for the original two sorter, 970 lane garment-on-hangar project. Each of the 970 lanes represents one of Ross’ stores and all apparel traveling through the system is tagged for its final lane (i.e. specific store). For the past six years, Patti has been servicing the system and was in the best position to add a third sorter and manage other system modifications.
“Our six-year track record on this project speaks for itself. Our client has the confidence in our engineers and our ability to provide successful and competent control system solutions,” says Sam Hoff, Patti Engineering President. “Plus we also are thrilled to be keeping three Michigan-based engineering employees on this California project.”
The project is scheduled to be completed in August 2009.
